I switched from the red fuel stabilizer to Star Tron after reading the spec sheet of the stabilizer and learning that it contains propanol, a type of alcohol. I can't rationalize treating gasoline that contains ethanol with a product that contains propanol. For your research and reference convenience, here's a good place to start researching Star Tron. The small dosage chart may be useful when filling up your ride.

How much should I use?
Q: How much Star Tron should I use in gasoline or diesel fuel? A: There are three concentrations for mixing convenience.
143XX SEF | Small Engine Formula - - - Add 1 fl. oz. for every 6 gallons of gas.
930XX Standard Formula - - - - - - - - - - Add 1 fl. oz. for every 16 gallons of gas.
931XX Diesel / Industrial Formula - - - - Add 1 fl. oz. of Star Tron Diesel Additive for every 32 gallons of diesel fuel
NOTE 1: The xx in the part number indicates bottle size in number of oz.. ie, 08,16, 32 or 00 for a gallon. NOTE 2: Star Tron is safe to "overdose" and can be mixed with other additives. NOTE 3: BMWROK Web Admin called Star Tron Customer Service to confirm that 143XX and 930XX can be used for diesel, by simply doubling the concentration. Formulation for all 3 products is identical, except for concentration.
TIP FOR SMALL BATCH MIXING (10 Star Tron capfuls equal roughly 1 ounce) FIRST DOSE • 143xx Small Engine Formula . . . . . . . . . .1 CAP treats 0.3 gal. • 930xx Marine / Standard Formula . . . . . . 1 CAP treats .8 gal. • 931xx Diesel / Concentrated Formula . . . 1 CAP treats 1.6 gal.
