BMW ROK holds a monthly meeting on the first Monday of each month, unless pre-empted by other Club Events. The meetings are currently held at Puleo's Grill in east Knox county at the Strawberry Plains exit off I-40. Occassionaly BMW ROK meetings are held at other locations, suchs as a members home, other parts of Knoxville, or in the Morristown area. Such changes in the meeting venue will be annouced and posted at the earliest possible time.

Meetings begin at 7:00 but arrive by 6:00 if you plan to eat and to enjoy some good conversation. Puleo's has been voted one of Knoxville's best restaurants several years in a row now, so check out their menu it's good eats.

Monday, June 2, 2008: The BMW ROK Meeting will be held in Morristown this month. At least once a year we try to hold a meeting in Morristown to show our Club appreciation to the Morristown members that support and do so much for our club. These guys and gals come to Knoxville most months during the year so this month let's all ride to Morristown and have a good time in their hometown.

The meeting will be at Cafe Mozart on Main Street in Morristown. The Address is:

Monday, July 7, 2008: Fred and Marcia Childress of our very own Club own the Gourmet Cafe and Market in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. For some time they have wanted to invite the BMW ROK over for a meeting. So, the ROK Club meeting for July is scheduled to be another away meeting at Fred and Marcia's Cafe.

Club Rides and Other Events : BMW ROK tries to have some sort of formal group ride at least once a month. These are generally scheduled the Saturday after the monthly meeting, but this can vary depending on the ride leader, weather, or other scheduling conflicts. If anyone would like to lead a monthly ride to their favorite twisty road, neat old country store, or other interesting location, please don't hesitate to step up and volunteer. If you've never led a club or group ride don't let that stop you, there are plenty of veterans in the club that would be more than willing to assist in laying out a route or helping with other logistics. Just let us know when and where. Or, if you want to lead a ride and don't have a destination in mind, don't let that stop you either. You can sign up now and take all the time you need to set up a ride.
