The fall riding season is just about here, and in our mind probably the best time to come to the Smokies. Also, we're closing in on our 5th season of operation and really want to say a big "Thank You" to all of you that have come and ridden with us over the past 5 years either in East TN or Terlingua TX. I suppose it's because of our common passion for riding motorcycles that we feel that you are all part of our family, and this is confirmed by all the friendships we have made over the last 5 years.
New bikes in the fleet: first, we added a new BMW F700GS with the low seat and suspension option. We realize most dual sport and adventure bikes can be a bit tall in the saddle for some, well not to worry, this baby has a seat height of just 30.1"!
Next is a bike we've had our eyes on for a while, and when the opportunity to get our hands on Twisted Throttle's project bike came up we just couldn't pass it up. Fully outfitted with all the fine products Twisted offers makes this bike ready to travel. Oh, it's the Triumph Explorer 1200! Check out this cool video of the Explorer.
As many of you know we work closely with Twisted Throttle in outfitting our bikes with their fine products, because of this we are now able to provide you, our customers, with a 10% discount on any item they offer. Just use the coupon code "TT-XHK6-5087" on your next order to receive the discount.
Big Bend, here we come! Yep, we will again be set up down in Terlingua Texas for the winter, Mid January through Mid March. Come down and ride with us this winter in this most amazing place....... well, we think it is anyway. "Click here" for more info on traveling and riding in the Big Bend. We're now taking reservations for the 2014 season, give us a call at 865-448-6090 to reserve or if you have any questions.
We are blessed here in the mountains with many great campgrounds that are set up exclusively for motorcyclists, if you have never stayed at one of these, you're in for a treat. No tent, no problem, most have small cabins as well as tent sites. Not only do they cater to the needs of us riders, you also have like minded souls to socialize with in the evenings.....and what better time to camp than Sept. & Oct. when we have cool nights and warm sunny days!
Talking about local businesses, we want to give a shout out to two local shops, please stop in and check them out when you're up here riding, they are both unique and provide expert knowledge in what they offer:
