1) What is specified intake clearance? 2) What is specified exhaust clearance? 3) Be sure piston is at TDC of compression stroke by jiggling all the cam followers. They should all move. If not, rotate the crank in the direction it normally turns 360 degrees/1 full turn. 4) To turn the crank to line up the marks, put bike on center stand, in 6th gear, and rotate the rear wheel in the normal direction of travel. (Reportedly, there is a plastic cover on the rront of the motor that covers a bolt or nut that you can turn with a wrench, too. But I haven't looked there yet. 5) What is the torque spec for the valve cover bolts?
